Learning@Europe (L@E) is an educational experience providing effective educational value through an innovative pedagogical paradigm, an original use of advanced technologies, high-quality content (about history: the birth of nation-states in Europe), and international collaboration among European schools.

The experience provides a European value: it fosters collaboration between students from different European countries and it focuses on the problem of identities in Europe, thus paving the way towards the European citizenship.

The innovative pedagogical approach approach of L@E combines several factors: interviews to international experts, on-line sessions in which 4 classes meet in a 3 dimensional world at the same time, forums for asynchronous cooperation, quizzes and questions, homework to be carried on in a collaborative fashion.

A combination of innovative technologiescreates an effective and involving experience. The most original aspect is the use of three-dimensional shared environments, in which users can move, interact, chat, play... Electronic forums allow classes to work together with remote participants, and also to keep in contact with academic experts, who answer the students’ questions.
